Roger Wolfson is a professional television and film writer and an attorney with a background in law, politics, news, and international diplomacy. As a writer, he has written for five Network TV series, including Law and Order: SVU, Saving Grace, and the Closer, where one of his episodes earned Kyra Sedgwick an Emmy Nomination. He has also developed and sold seven pilots of his own. He has served as counsel and speechwriter for four U.S. Senators: Joe Lieberman, John Kerry, Paul Wellstone, and Ted Kennedy. More recently, he has helped write speeches for politicians such as Senator Elizabeth Warren and Congressman Alan Grayson. He currently has two pilots in development – one at USA Network and one at Bravo, and serves as Commissioner for Animal Services for the City of Los Angeles. He has his bachelors in Drama from Vassar College, his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, his Masters in Writing from Johns Hopkins, and is a member of the bars of New York, Connecticut, Washington, DC, and the United States Supreme Court.
